This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you visit galleonweb.com or get in touch with Galleon Web LLC. The short version: this website has no forms, no accounts, and no tracking, so it collects nothing from you directly. The only information we ever see is what you choose to send us when you email us or book a call.
What this website collects
Nothing directly. The site is a single informational page. There is no contact form, no sign-up, no login, and no shopping cart. We do not run analytics software, advertising scripts, or third-party trackers on the site, and the site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel automatically processes the standard technical information that any web server receives in order to deliver the page and keep it secure — for example your IP address, browser type, and which page was requested. This is ordinary server operation; Galleon Web does not add its own analytics or profiling on top of it, and does not use this information to identify you.
When you contact us
There are two ways to reach us, and each is handled by a tool you already use — not by a system we built:
- Email. The “Email us” link opens your own email app addressed to saif@galleonweb.com. Whatever you write is delivered by your email provider to our inbox. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange work you have asked about.
- Booking a call. The “Book a free call” button sends you to a Google Calendar appointment page. Any details you enter there (such as your name, email, and chosen time) are collected and stored by Google under Google’s own privacy policy, and shared with us so we can meet you at the time you picked.
We keep the emails and booking details you send us for as long as needed to talk with you and, if we work together, to run that engagement. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time by emailing saif@galleonweb.com.
Our internal Google application
Galleon Web operates an internal application that connects to Google Workspace APIs. This application is used only by Galleon Web, and only to access data inside Galleon Web’s own Google account — for example our own spreadsheets and email — after we grant it permission through Google’s standard consent screen. It does not access any Google account belonging to a website visitor or customer.
Galleon Web’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers described above (your email provider, Google Calendar, and our host Vercel) that are needed to deliver the site and respond to you. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
Galleon Web builds websites for businesses. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site or our tools handle information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Because the site’s design is deliberately simple, changes should be rare.
